Meet the Team
Mick joined the business in 2011 and played a key role in developing the ROBUS brand in Australia. Through hands-on experience across all areas of the organisation, he built a deep understanding of the Group, leading to his appointment as CEO in 2020, succeeding his father and founder, Michael Slein Snr.
Mick is highly ambitious and focused on growing a leading building electrification platform across the Group’s key markets. Since becoming CEO, he has led the Group’s ambitious buy-and-build strategy with the support of the leadership team, expanding its portfolio of specialist brands while maintaining a strong focus on organic growth across all divisions of the business.
Robert is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer and serves on the Board of Directors. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC, he combines deep financial expertise with strong commercial and operational insight. As a member of the executive leadership team, he helps shape and execute the Group’s strategy.
With responsibility for finance, operations, governance and business performance, Robert has played a significant role in the Group’s growth and development. Working closely with the Board and leadership team, he helps deliver strategic initiatives, drive operational excellence and support the successful execution of the Group’s growth strategy.
Stephen is Chief Commercial Officer and serves on the Board of Directors. Before joining the business in 2021, he held several senior executive roles across sales, finance and commercial functions within the FMCG sector in Ireland and Germany. Since joining the Group, he has played a key role in developing the platform to support future growth and acquisitions.
As a member of the leadership team, Stephen heads a number of internal functions and plays an important role in enabling the Group’s acquisition strategy. He has been heavily involved in the acquisition and integration of both FuseBox and ATC and continues to lead core infrastructure projects that strengthen the Group’s capabilities and support its long-term growth ambitions.
Lun is a Senior Vice President in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. He joined Oaktree in 2019, having previously served as an Investment Associate at Blue Water Energy and an M&A Analyst at Lazard. He currently serves on the boards of Aqseptence Group, BEX Group, TSG, and COL Group.
As a member of the Board, Lun works closely with the Group’s leadership team to support its long-term growth strategy. Drawing on his investment and industry experience, he provides strategic guidance on growth initiatives, acquisitions and value creation as the Group continues to expand its building electrification platform.
Francesco is a Managing Director and Assistant Portfolio Manager in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group. He joined Oaktree in 2018, having previously served as a Managing Director at First Reserve and held senior leadership roles with General Electric across M&A and operations. He currently serves on the boards of Aqseptence Group, COL Group, BEX Group, and TSG.
Francesco brings extensive board-level and investment experience across the energy, industrial and infrastructure sectors. He works closely with the Group’s leadership team on strategic priorities, supporting the execution of growth initiatives and helping to strengthen the platform as the business continues to scale across its key markets.
Tommy serves as Non-Executive Chairman and brings more than four decades of leadership experience across international businesses. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he joined DCC plc in 1985 and held a number of senior leadership roles before being appointed Chief Executive in 2008. He later served as Chairman of HomeServe plc, a UK-headquartered FTSE 250 company.
As Non-Executive Chairman of the Group, Tommy brings extensive experience of leading and scaling international businesses. He provides oversight, guidance and challenge to the Board and leadership team, helping shape the Group’s strategic direction and supporting its continued growth and development across international markets.
Alessandro is a Senior Advisor to Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. He brings more than 30 years of industry experience, including 27 years with ABB, where he most recently served as President of ABB Distribution Solutions. He also serves as Executive Chairman of COL Group.
As a Non-Executive Director, Alessandro brings extensive leadership expertise across the power, utility and energy sectors. Drawing on his background in investment decision-making and supporting management teams to scale businesses, he helps identify strategic opportunities and accelerate the Group’s growth ambitions.
