Sustainability at BEX Group
As BEX Group grows, we are committed to doing so responsibly. Together, our market-leading brands support electricians and wholesalers in over 40 countries.

At the group level, we are monitoring and investing in our ESG performance across our portfolio, as a corporate entity and in every market.

Our ESG framework
There are many ESG reporting frameworks available. At BEX Group, we apply a clear seven-pillar approach to bring consistency to how we manage systems, actions and reporting across the business.
This framework is guided by ISO 26000:2010 (Guidance on Social Responsibility).

How we govern ESG
Accountability starts with ownership. Our ESG team brings together managers from each region, combining local insight with the authority to drive action across BEX Group.
We regularly review our key actions, track progress through a shared platform, and keep staff, customers, suppliers and stakeholders informed through ongoing communications, updates and insights.
Measuring and reducing emissions
For carbon abatement, we follow a clear four-step process:

We partner with Greenly carbon accounting to strengthen how we measure, manage and validate progress against our targets.
Our methodology covers:
Scope 1: Direct emissions generated by our operations and activities (e.g., fuel combustion, refrigerant leaks).
Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the energy we consume (electricity, heat or steam).
Scope 3: Other indirect emissions across our upstream and downstream activities (e.g., transportation, purchased goods and services, and emissions associated with sold products).

Change vs 2024: Our absolute 100% emissions increased by 187% since 2024. This was an infrequent occurrence, driven by the addition of new company branches and improved data coverage and quality.

Environmental management system (ISO 14001) roadmap
ISO 14001 is the international standard for environmental management systems, supporting organisations in managing and continually improving their environmental impact.
BEX Group is progressing towards alignment with ISO 14001 across all entities over time.
ESG is a journey and we are building momentum. As we evolve, we will expand the scope of our environmental management system and support each business in progressing towards certification through a phased, practical rollout.
